The Red Oak project is being deferred due to the current business environment. The project has not been cancelled, but certain work has been paused. We will provide an update as we know more.
We hope that you, your families and your neighbors remain safe and well during this difficult time.
Red Oak is a system comprised of multiple pipeline projects that will safely and reliably transport crude oil from Cushing, Oklahoma, and the Permian Basin in West Texas to the Texas Gulf Coast. Red Oak will help to strengthen America’s energy independence and provide jobs for our hardworking families. Our pipeline system will be a collaboration with your communities and together we’ll position Oklahomans and Texans to benefit from America’s energy production.
In the past five years, the U.S. has become the top oil producer in the world. This reduced reliance on foreign oil and our newfound energy independence makes America more secure and is one of the key reasons why Red Oak is so important.
Phillips 66 and Plains All American Pipeline (Plains) have formed a 50/50 joint venture, Red Oak Pipeline LLC, and are proceeding with construction of the Red Oak system. A top priority in this partnership is to protect the environment and be good neighbors to Texas and Oklahoma landowners. Most of all, we want to be good stewards of the land to which we are all so deeply tied.
We are committed to building this system of pipelines in a manner that prioritizes safety while respecting each local area’s distinct features.
Construction of the Red Oak system is not expected to start until 2020. However, we want you to stay informed and up to date. If you have questions, please reach out by email email@example.com or call (866) 940-1434.
